Dr. Elaine Gonzales is a native New Yorker. Early on, she knew that she would pursue dentistry as a profession. She attended the Bronx High School of Science and later went on to New York University College of Arts and Science where she majored in Biology and minored in Asian Pacific American Studies.
Elaine then continued to NYU College of Dentistry and attained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Gonzales completed a general practitioner residency in the competitive program at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Due to her passion for education, she is currently an attending dentist and clinical instructor in JHMC Dental Department.
Dr. Gonzales is Invisalign-certified and is active in keeping up to date with advances in dentistry to provide excellent patient care. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and served as the President of the Eastern Association of Filipino Dentists of America. She has been recognized for her participation and coordination of multiple pediatric dental outreaches which has focused on education and meeting basis dental needs in populations that have no access to care in the Philippines.
